I have been meaning to send you some pictures for the last six months since Jane and I got back to Australia.
More importantly writing to thank you for providing and setting up the Himalayan with the luggage. The bike was so much better than I could have imagined, it did everything I asked of it with no issues. This included over the Alpes and the Pyrenees two up of course not to mention the semi desert dirt tracks we got onto in Spain and a brief stint on the motorway in France when we miscalculated the distance of the days run. Nothing was a problem.
We went up to Scotland to run it in then I gave it its first service. Then of to Europe, Ferry to Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, France ferry to South England and back to Yorkshire. Ten weeks in all we had a brilliant time completed 6,000 miles. I tightened the chain three times and added 500ml oil and that was it. I serviced it again and have left it in my friend’s garage in North Newbald.
Jane and I are coming over again in May June for three weeks this year to ride to Majorca.
Anyway thanks again for recommending providing and setting up the Himalayan.
